Position: Maintenance Rover I

The City of Enumclaw, Washington currently has a job opening for Maintenance Rover I

Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, this position performs a variety of operations and maintenance duties related to all city utilities including gas, water, streets, stormwater, wastewater treatment, sewer collection, and solid waste. The incumbent will assist with various duties such as pavement markings, pothole patching, sidewalk repair, and maintenance.

Maintenance Rover I Job Description

This is a full-time position - Union, Non-Exempt

The salary range is $5,527.34 - $6,723.76 per month

Benefits: Vacation, Sick Leave, Medical, Dental and Vision. Retirement through DRS, optional Deferred Compensation plan and HSA available. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from high school and two years of experience in the operation of vehicles requiring a Class B CDL or previous experience of sufficient length of time to prove competency in this skill area. 
• Experience in the operation of a backhoe, vactor truck, street sweeper, utility tractor and other grounds maintenance equipment is desirable. 

LICENSES/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Washington State Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Tank Vehicle Endorsement within 1 year of hire.
• Valid flagger certification and card.
