The summer calendar for the City of Enumclaw begins with our annual tradition the Fourth of July parade. Starting at noon it will once again be along Cole Street. Citizens are welcomed to bring their lawn chairs and begin to enjoy the day prior to the start of the parade. This event is a great way to have family enjoyment as well as a lead in to the rest of the Holiday. Fireworks will not be in Enumclaw this year.
Following this National Holiday will be the first of eight ‘Sundays on Cole’. Beginning on July 8th at 10 AM and lasting until 6 PM, ‘Sundays on Cole’ will have live music, local arts and craft vendors and other various items each Sunday. For eight Sundays in July and through August bring the kids and other family members and stroll Cole Street to enjoy your Downtown in a festive environment. Tickets are still available for the July 8th BBQ which can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce office, 1421 Cole St.
A Summer Lunch Backpack Program is available through the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation during July and running through August 30th. Every Tuesday and Thursday between 11 AM – 1 PM food bags can be picked up. For more information either stop by the Foundation at 1675 Cole St. or call 360-802-3206.
