July 2022 Mayor's Message

Posted on July 5, 2022 at 2:18 PM by Jan Molinaro

The summer calendar for the City of Enumclaw has begun and there are several events planned just for this month, not to mention all of summer. The first of eight ‘Sundays on Cole’. Beginning on July 10th at 11 AM and lasting until 4 PM, ‘Sundays on Cole’ will have live music, local arts and craft vendors and other various items each Sunday. Don’t forget the many food vendors that will also be downtown for that snack or meal. For eight Sundays in July and through August bring the kids and other family members and stroll Cole Street to enjoy your Downtown in a festive environment. Be watching for the announcement for the Sundays on Cole Community BBQ. Tickets will be available for this delightful event in August.

On July 12 the city of Enumclaw will be host to the classic rock band REO Speedwagon. Come to city hall front and be part of the presentation for the key to city to the band. A great way and day to see your favorite band in person and in Enumclaw before they head to the White River Amphitheater to perform at their concert.

From July 14th -17th the King County Fair will be back at the Enumclaw Expo Center with an incredible list of events and activities for all to enjoy. Animals, rides, food. Check out the Expo website for detailed info, https://www.enumclawexpo.com/ . Plan now on the day or days to attend.

After a two of year pause, the Pacific Northwest Scottish Highlands Games and Clan Gathering are coming back to Enumclaw. Starting on July 24th and 25th, the Games will once again be at the Enumclaw Expo Center. Tickets are available through the Enumclaw Expo website. Put on your kilts and dust off your bagpipes and come on down to enjoy all the activity this gathering brings to town.

This gets us through most of summer, however August will be offering more events in Enumclaw so keep watching for this information the weeks ahead.
