This month is the usual end of summer and with that in mind there is still time to participate in many activities around your community. To begin the Enumclaw Aquatic Center has many items to take advantage. Swim lessons for the younger age group, exercise classes or just come on out and enjoy the water with the family. There are the many parks around town to enjoy an outing for a picnic and play time with the children. Check out the city web site www.cityofenumclaw.net for specific information.
Sundays on Cole will continue through the month of August with many food and retail vendors as well as live music. Check on the Enumclaw Parks Facebook page for the band to be playing.
The Enumclaw Senior Center is slowly and gradually reopening. It is best to contact the Center for the latest updates and what plans they currently have. One area that they have started is for Seniors to stay fit through exercise. The Center hosts plenty of opportunities to stay active with the new Evergreen Club. Contact the Senior Center for more information and opportunities to sign up at this number, 360-825-4741.
This is just a few ideas to utilize in the last month before school starts up in September. Other areas to explore are the many State Parks that are an easy drive from Enumclaw. Hurry the sunshine will be around for a few more weeks.
