The annexation area includes the entire area of the existing Sierra Vista Neighborhood and the adjacent properties fronting on SR 410. Annexation request was submitted to the City on November 4, 2020. See Maps Below:

Process to Date:
The City will schedule a virtual Public Open House with the citizens/owners in located within the annexation area. This will give everyone an opportunity to gather information on the annexation prior to the petitioner (Grace Point Church) gathering signatures. This meeting will be held via TEAMS. Information for the virtual meeting will be published below and on the City's meeting calendar. The proponent will need to gather and submitted the necessary property owner signatures owners of at least 60 percent of the property value in the area, computer according to the assessed valuation of the property for general taxation purposes.

On December 14, 2020, Enumclaw City Council passed Resolution No. 1694 - A resolution of the City of Enumclaw, King County, Washington acknowledging the receipt of a notice of intent to annex certain real property known as the Grace Point Annexation, geographically modifying and accepting annexation. The Resolution is available here.
Notice of Intent: The notice of intention is filed after receiving the 60% Petition signed by the property owners.
The City Council will hold a public hearing on annexation after the Boundary Review Board has reviewed the proposal pending the petition receiving all of the required signatures.
