Directions

Enumclaw is located in south-central King County, Washington on a plateau of agricultural and forested land nestled against the Cascade foothills and serving as the "Gateway to Mt. Rainier."  Enumclaw is conveniently accessed from Seattle, Tacoma and the Eastside communities as it is accessed by State Highways 410, 164, and 169.

From I-5 North or South:
Take the Auburn Highway 18 East Exit.

Take the Auburn, Enumclaw Exit and turn left onto Auburn Way South.

Stay on Auburn Way South and go up the hill. You will pass the Muckleshoot Casino on your left and the White River Amphitheater later on your right.

This road is Highway 164 and will take you into Enumclaw

Highway 164 becomes Griffin Avenue in the City.

Enumclaw City Hall is on the corner of Porter Street and Griffin Avenue (1339 Griffin Avenue).

From Tacoma:
Take Highway 512 east to Puyallup. 

Take the exit for Highway 410 east.

Another big hill - pass through the cities of Bonney Lake and Buckley.

Highway 410 takes you through Enumclaw.  Follow the signs to City Center.

Enumclaw City Hall is on the corner of Porter Street and Griffin Avenue (1339 Griffin Avenue).

From the Eastside:
Take I-405 South.  Take Highway 169 east from Renton.

Take the highway through Maple Valley and Black Diamond, and then into Enumclaw.

Highway 169 becomes Porter Street.

Enumclaw City Hall is on the corner of Porter Street and Griffin Avenue (1339 Griffin Avenue).

Directions to other City buildings:

Community/Senior Center: 1350 Cole Street
Follow the directions to City Hall, but proceed east on Griffin Avenue.  Turn right at Cole Street (2 blocks down) and continue for three blocks.  The Community/Senior Center is on the right, just past Stevenson Avenue.

Fire Station: 1330 Wells Street
Follow the directions to City Hall, but proceed east on Griffin Avenue.  Turn right at Wells Street (1 block down) and continue for three blocks.  The Fire Station is on the right, just past Stevenson Avenue.

Public Works (Stevenson-Yerxa Building): 1309 Myrtle Avenue
The Stevenson Yerxa Building is directly behind City Hall, on the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Wells Street.

Police Station: 1705 Wells Street
The Police Station is located behind and one block east of City Hall, on the corner of Wells Street and Myrtle Avenue.

Enumclaw Aquatic Center: 420 Semanski Street
From City Hall, proceed west on Griffin Avenue for 11 blocks until you reach Semanski Street.  Turn left, heading south, for approximately one mile.  The entrance to the pool is between Enumclaw High School and Enumclaw Middle School.

Enumclaw Expo Center: 45224 284th Avenue Southeast
From City Hall, proceed east on Griffin Avenue until you reach Roosevelt Avenue (Highway 410).  Turn left onto Roosevelt, heading east, until 284th Avenue/Farman Street.  Turn right onto 284th, and proceed 1/4 mile.  The Expo Center is on your left.

Enumclaw Golf Course: 45220 288th Avenue Southeast
From City Hall, proceed east on Griffin Avenue until you reach Roosevelt Avenue (Highway 410).  Turn left onto Roosevelt, heading east, until 288th Avenue, which is by Enumclaw Park (Pete's Pool).  Turn right onto 288th.

Enumclaw Public Library: 1700 First Street
Follow the directions to City Hall, but proceed east on Griffin Avenue.  Turn left at Railroad Street (3 blocks down) and continue for one block.  The Library is on the right, on the corner of Railroad and First Streets.

Evergreen Memorial Cemetery: 23717 SE 416th Street
From City Hall, proceed north on Porter Street, which is also Highway 169.  Turn left on 416th Street.  The Cemetery is on the left, past 244th Avenue SE.
