Enumclaw Veteran's Memorial Park - Marine Memorial
Enumclaw's Marine Memorial, located in Veteran's Memorial Park and dedicated in 1999, honors the 32 Marines killed in a plane crash on December 10, 1946, on the South Tahoma Glacier on Mt. Rainier. This is an exact replica of the memorial on Mt. Rainier, which is accessible only by foot. This photo is from the annual service honoring those Marines, held in August. |
