Enumclaw’s GEMs Miniature Juried Art Exhibit

July 6 – July 31, 2018

The City of Enumclaw’s fourth annual GEMs Miniature Juried Art Exhibit at Enumclaw City Hall Gallery 2018 will run throughout the month of July. This year’s juror, Michelle Osborne, selected images for the show awards. She reviewed nearly forty individual works of art, awarding a First Place Award, Arts Alive! Second Place Award and a Local Artist Award. The awards reception will be held on July 6, 2018, at the Enumclaw City Hall Gallery from 3 – 5 P.M. The event encourages public participation.

During your visit to the exhibit, please vote for your favorite work of art, and please make a small donation. All donations will be awarded to the artist who receives the most votes for the People’s Choice Award.

This event is sponsored by the City of Enumclaw, 4Culture of King County, Arts Alive!, and the community of Enumclaw.

This is an exhibit for professional adult artists in the greater Seattle area. All communications are done on-line with the exception of artwork delivery, pickup, and attendance at the optional awards reception on July 6, 2018 from 3 – 5 PM. For a $25 fee, artists may submit 3 electronic images for the juror to review. This year’s juror is Michelle Osborne, a Tacoma painter. Only 2-D artworks no larger than 12" x 12" including the frame will be considered for exhibit.

Awards for the exhibit winners include a First Place Award of $300, an Arts Alive! Award of $200, and a sponsor’s Local Artist Award of $150. In addition, visitors to the month-long exhibit will leave donations for a People’s Choice Award.

City Hall exhibits are sponsored by the City of Enumclaw, 4Culture of King County, Arts Alive!, and community members. Gallery 2018 is located in the Council Chambers at Enumclaw City Hall. 1339 Griffin Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022.
